Riobamba's close proximity to the Avenue of the Volcanoes and the famed Chimborazo, the highest volcano and mountain in Ecuador, makes this an ideal hotel for climbers, hikers, and tourists wanting to see the extraordinary and mystical volcanoes. Nearby attractions also include Pro Bici (0.3 miles), Catedral de Riobamba (0.4 miles), and Lakes of Ozogoche (Lagunas de Ozogoche) (0.6 miles). The train station is 2 blocks away.

The 741.82 sq. meter Mansion Spa Santa Isabella hotel sits on 633 sq. meters of land. There are 11 rooms in the colonial section of the hotel and 14 guest rooms in the new addition. Both parts of this luxury destination spa hotel include single, double, triple, and suite rooms. An attic room has a rooftop view, while select rooms have terraces looking out at the city and rooftops.

This distinctive Ecuadorian-style house offers elegant accommodations in the center of Riobamba, with a covered fountain, just 300 meters from Riobamba Cathedral. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All of the rooms include bathrobes and cable TV. The beautiful spa, reached through a plant-filled atrium and winding adobe staircase, provides a large jacuzzi, a sauna, and steam and massage rooms to soothe the soul. The spa is a favorite of locals as well as travelers.

There is a great restaurant where free breakfast is currently a part of the cost of a stay, and in the evening, diners can feast on gourmet regional foods that can't compare. There is also an elegant and special cave dining room underneath the hotel, as well as the Cueva del Cura bar and a lovely, large conference room -- perfect for local business events and special social gatherings. There is also a large laundry room and storage and eqyipment spaces.

This century-old gem was renovated from 2006 to 2008. A newer addition was added in 2013 and completed in 2014.

There are two parking spots and local secured parking that are available to hotel guests.

The hotel is served by municipal water and electricity and has solar panels to pre-warm water as part of its water systems. A new roof and water system were recently completed.

The boutique hotel also has a commercial space that can be rented out for additional income-producing capabilities. Previously a popular bookstore was located there.
